Recently, security firms reported that the iOS app FomoPeek (v1.1–v1.2) contained malicious code capable of stealing sensitive information, including wallet private keys stored locally on users’ devices, resulting in asset losses for some users. The incident has attracted broad community attention, and Binance has also received related user inquiries. At this time, Binance has not identified any related stolen funds flowing into the platform, nor have we received reports of Binance users suffering asset losses as a result of this incident. Nevertheless, safeguarding user assets remains our top priority. Binance will continue to closely monitor relevant fund movements and track developments through on-chain monitoring and other risk control measures. If any related funds are subsequently found to involve Binance, or if there are indications that such funds may flow into Binance’s platform or services, Binance will actively support relevant investigations and response efforts. We will also continue working closely with security partners such as SlowMist to assist in tracking related risks and help protect user assets within our capabilities. Stay SAFU.
